It’s always been based on real people or real animals-not too much from my imagination. You know, I’m not very good with words, so I always found it easier to illustrate with pictures rather than with words. But I didn’t draw then as much as I do now.

I started as a child in school, drawing pictures of all my classmates and the other people around me. When did you first start to draw the world around you?
